Shanell stared out the window of the car refusing to talk to Andy who kept talking to her. “Shan come on don't be mad at me … mom called us because she was worried.... and now I see why. “ He pulled her arm to try to get her to look at him. He hated when she was angry at him which was not often. Sure they fought like all siblings but never stayed angry at each other for long. “come on starlight... talk to me...” he implored as they drove back to the house.

“I'm fine you guys didn't have to fly clear across the world to check on me....” She kept looking out the window. “And you defiantly did not have to come my school to pick me up ...” She stated softly. If it wasn't bad before it was so going to be hell now, especially since both Barry an Andy had ignored Patrice.

“Shanell we came cause we wanted to surprise you …. you're our little sister why wouldn't we want to come see you …. “ Barry stated as he drove back to the house. “when we get home we better get the first aid kit out … take care of those hands …. has that been happening a lot.... Rosebud have they been doing that to you a lot ….” He looked in the review mirror.

Shanell went quiet not wanting to answer that question when Andy turned her face to look in his brown eyes. “Have they been doing that to you a lot Shan? Don't lie to me ….” His voice soft and full of concern.

She shrugged “its not a big deal it wasn't so bad when you were home.... it just got worse lately...” She sighed “I didn't want to worry you guys …. I was dealing with it …. sure I've been skipping school some days so I didn't have to ….”

“why didn't you tell mum...” Barry stated as he pulled into the drive cutting her off when he heard she was cutting school to avoid the problem.

“because I was dealing with it on my own ….. I didn't need to worry Mum or Dad..... it was my problem...”

Barry shook his head, he reached back to grab her bag before opening the back door. When he reached into the car to help her out of the car Andy already had it handled. He was already out and lifted her out of the back. He followed Andy into the house carrying Shanell's bag. He hid the grin on his face cause Shanell was glaring at Andy and trying to wiggle down but Andy had a grip on her and she wasn't going anywhere.

Barbara looked up as Barry held the door open “oh dear.....” She moved forward “what happened....”

“Mum we need the first aid kit …. Shan's done something to her hands …. not sure if she twisted something either when she went down..” Andy stated as he set her on the chair by the table ignoring the dark looks he was receiving from his baby sister. He headed to the bathroom coming back and setting it on the table. “let me ...”

“I can take care of my hands myself Andy ….” Shanell reaches for the package.

“nope ...” Andy shook his head an reached forward grabbing her wrist turning it over.

Maurice came over “what happened Andy..” he winced seeing Shanell's hands “what in the world happened.....” He lifted her other hand “both of them are tore up and it looks like your skirt has dirt all over it.” He looked at Andy.

Robin came over sitting on the other chair by Shanell putting his arm around her “come on princess tell us what happened.....” He reached up to brush her bangs out of her eyes. “we know somethings wrong “ He too winced when he saw the scrapes on her hands.

“what's wrong is those girls at the school are bullying her over something but she wont' tell me what they said....didn't know there was a problem till they shoved her...” Andy stated as he moved to the side so their mom could take care of Shanell's hands. He rubbed her back as she hissed when they were cleaned.

“its not a problem Andy just leave it okay...ow mum “ She tried to pull her hand back. “Mum really its fine ….” She rolled her eyes while Barbara tended to them cleaning them with antiseptic then set them down. She rolled her eyes all of her brothers were now watching her while Robin kept his arm around her. “its not a big deal …. some of the kids are a tad touchy is all.... “

“what do you mean touchy love … “

“they have a small problem if I don't invite them over to the house, or if I don't give them free albums or don't want to talk about all of you all the time …. don't get me wrong I love all of you..” She reached over and hugged Robin “I am happy for you … I honestly am....but sometimes ...” She sighed

Maurice knelt down by her “but sometimes what Snail....” He looked into her eyes.

“Sometimes I wished no one knew who I was …. that I could go around school without everyone staring at me. Or people trying to be friends with me just because of who my brothers are...” She sighed “I don't blame you guys honestly I don't I love you all so much..” A tear ran down her face “but sometimes it so hard .. to know who I can talk to or trust ….” She shook her head “Its fine I can deal with it...can I have my bag Barry I have to do my homework...” She took it and left the four brothers speechless as she went to her room shutting the door.

They all left Shanell to do her homework and all went to the dining room to have a chat. Barry had an idea floating round his head but wanted to see what the other guys thought of their sisters problem. " so what can we do to help Shan? We can't let her go through this alone and let her schooling suffer!?”

Well said Andy, " those girls were really horrible to her , we need to do something to cheer Shan up, I can't bear to see her like this" He ran a hand through his hair worry etched on his face. He knew she was hurting knew how this felt. But how was he going to help her through it when he and his brothers were in the states.

" well?" said Barry, " I do have an idea!" He stated he had been thinking about it since their mom had been tending to the scrapes on Shanell's hands. Just thinking about them made him slightly angry. Sure it was hard for his sister, he knew how bad Andy had it back when he was younger he thought maybe it had gotten better but no his little sister had just hid it better. He looked at his brothers “its an out there what if we do a concert … get Shan up there with us …. show them a different side of her they won't do this to her...”

“that's an idea ….” Robin stated while he settled on the couch. “but will it make it worse for her after … or will it help ...”

Well said Barry, there's only one way to find out, we're not too busy, let get some ideas together and put it to Shan first,see what she thinks...” he turned to Andy “do you think it will help?”

Maurice frowned “I am all for helping Shan… but do you think is going to help her it might make it worse for her … if they are bullying her because of who we all are ….” He turned to their mom “mum has she had any friends come over....or does she go over to any of her friends....” He looked towards the door to their sisters room.

Andy was pacing back and forth in the dining room thinking over what Barry said. Would a concert help her or could it backfire badly on them all. He sighed “I don't know … Barry it might help …. let me talk to Shan about it see what she thinks …. if she thinks its a good idea I say we do it we don't really have much going on right now.... so spending time at home its not a problem...” He ran a hand through his hair “I am gonna go check on her....” He left the room headed towards his baby sisters room. They watched him leave.

Barbara looked at Maurice after Andy's exit. “no …. I mean she used to hang out with this girl named Patrice when they were younger but the last year she said she was going to a friend house maybe she was going there. She hasn't brought anyone here though … she's just got so withdrawn ...” Hugh sat next to his wife. “she used to laugh a lot now she just sits in her room I am worried boys …. “
