Disco Night

Jon rubbed his arm where she yanked him to the side then looked at her “what do you mean you know who Shan's brothers are ...” He shook his head “she told us who her brother's are Roy who owns the cars and she lives with her other brother Alan … she also has two brothers Hugh and Ernest.” he shook his head again “feel bad for the one guy but ….that doesn't make a difference...”

“don't be dense Jon..... “ Ellen glared at him. “have you ever noticed how familiar Shanell looks …. who she looks like....”

“I only look at you darlin....” He grinned down at her.

She shook her head with exasperation “I know that you doofus but I mean it …. and then her coming to school in a Benz when the car she normally drives to school doesn't start. She also misstep when she first introduced herself to me and Cindy, Ellen sighed “and the disguise her brother was wearing when he picked her up wasn't much of a disguise also the odd moving around a lot because of her *Fathers* business“ …. Jon I think Shanell's brother are the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb.... she looks like Andy ...” She frowned “why did she lie about it though … why not just come out and tell us … “

Jon frowned thinking about what his girlfriend was saying“well think about it you know what its like for you sometimes with your dad …. and some of our friends that have actors or actresses as parents... “ He tilted his head “now think about it being the youngest sibling with them guys as your brothers add in … remember she said she left after an incident at her school it must have been bad if they moved her to a whole other country....”

Ellen sighed “I guess … “

“maybe she just wanted to be liked for herself and not who she was related to ...” Jon stated “cause she doesn't act like she wants all the attention remember when you guys did the presentation in school she had you talk instead of her ...” Jon smiled again then frowned “and those guys asking about her being familiar really set her on edge maybe its time we head out get ready to go out tonight...” He rubbed his forehead “and maybe keep an eye out just in case .. you are right...”

“You know I am right.... “ She hugged him planting a kiss on his mouth when he gave in. “how did I get lucky to find you...”

“naw I am the lucky one sweetheart ….. “ He sighed “okay since your right maybe when we go out tonight keep an eye out just in case we need to make a run for it. I'll bring my car…. “ They headed back to meet up with Cindy and Rick who were by the blanket where Shanell was packing up her stuff.

“ready to leave and dance the night away ...” Cindy grinned as she had her stuff packed away in her bag. “Shanell said she'd give us a ride to your house since Rick and Jon only brought their bikes....” Ellen nodded agreeing with the idea still mulling over what she realized. They were all agreed as they headed to Ellen's house where the girls were going to get ready to go. Each of the girls took a shower and got ready to go.

When Shanell came down with her make up done and her blonde hair brushed back from her face but in waves Ellen really looked at her. Now that it dawned on her she could see even more resemblance to one of her favorite singers. She had a crush on Andy for over a year. She tried very hard not to get starstruck that she was now friends with her idols little sister. Knowing that Shanell had done everything to make sure they liked her for HER not for her brothers. Yet looking at her friend now she could see just how much she resembled her brothers how could they have not seen this before.

“is there a Problem El....” A accented voice broke her out of her musings. She blinked seeing that Shanell was staring at her too. Her friend was wearing a royal blue shift dress with earrings.

“no just thinking “ She smiled . Shanell just nodded as she fixed her makeup.”the guys said they would meet us at the club if you want to drive....' she stated as Cindy came down in her own outfit they all looked ready to dance the night away. After the incident at the beach Ellen hoped that tonight would go smoothly but she had a feeling that it might not. They all piled into the Porsche and headed to the club Ellen giving directions. As they pulled to the parking lot the music could be heard blasting from the windows and the lights flashing. They turned to the side both guys were standing by Jon's car waiting for the, so they headed inside. The lights flashing around and the music blasting from the speakers. They headed to a small table near the dance floor.

Soon they were out there dancing on the floor. Shanell spun around with Cindy dancing to Disco Inferno along with a few other songs. She smiled as Rick spun both of them around. She laughed and set down after she got out of breath sipping the soda on the table. She pushed her hair back from her face her bracelet from her brothers twinkling in the light. A young guy walked over to her. “hi....” She smiled at him a bit cautious but smiled nonetheless.

“You want to dance...” he held out his hand as Staying alive came out of the speakers.

She blushed slightly her ears turning red under her hair “sure....” She didn't have a problem dancing to this song she knew how to. She had danced it enough with her brother even Barry while he sang it. She started to the Hustle with him. She laughed as she was having fun, she winked over at her friends who were also having fun. She really got into dancing with the guy dancing on the floor. She didn't even notice that a lot of people were watching them as they danced. Nor did she notice the whispers at first she was too busy enjoying for herself at once. She could never go out to the discos down in oz because everyone knew who she was. Here she was unknown just another face in the crowd.

She started to get into the song humming along not even thinking as many times as she used to sing along with the song with Barry at home and even Andy. She spun into the hustle and started to sing along out loud. “staying aliiiiivee...” She kept dancing with her partner who stopped in mid dance as he heard her sing. She didn't even notice it but her dance partner was just staring at her now and not dancing. When the song finished she looked up to see others staring at her. Her friends standing to the side unsure what to do next. Nothing seemed a problem yet. She swallowed slowly “is everything alright....” She asked her dance partner.

He stared at her “wow you sound kind of like on of the Bee gees you kind of look like one too..do I know you …” his eyes widened as the lights kind of flashed onto her face He started to move closer to her and she backs up a bit.

A couple people started to get closer “Oh my gosh that's Shanell Gibb …. she's the Bee Gee and Andy's sister...I've read about her … Andy calls her his twin .” The one girl called out. “i can see what he means she does look like him oh my gosh …..” She squealed grabbing a hold of Shanell's arm. “can I meet him please....” The crowd started to close in around her.

Shanell tries to pull out of the girls grip tears appearing in her eyes. She hadn't thought when she was singing she was so used to doing that at home. She didn't think, she was hyperventilating she had to get out of there she had to get out of there now.. But the girl wasn't letting go and the crowd was getting more excitable. She tried to back up further tears pouring down her face.
