The aftermath

The girl wouldn't let go of her arm she needed to get out of here they were all asking her questions. She was starting to breath heavy when the girl's hand was removed from her arm. She was blocked on each side by Rick and Jon with Ellen in front. It had been Ellen who removed the girls hand and was glaring at the girl. “she told you to let go … what part of that don't you understand?”

“do you know who she is...” the girl shrieked. “She's Andy Gibb's sister ….”

“yes we know who she is … but she's also a person...” Cindy stated flatly.

Jon looked at the girls “lets go..” with his help Ellen grabbing Shanell's bag headed out of the Disco. He and Rick used their bodies to block anyone coming near them as the kids at the discotheque were yelling and asking questions. A few tried to grab at Shanell again only for Rick to body block them.

Shanell was shaking badly flashes of when she had been shoved down the stairs reminding her just how bad it could get. She knew how bad it had gotten a few times when she was younger and had been out to dinner with the family. She had to be literally carried out of the restaurant because the fans had tried to go after her older brothers. Now it was happening again only this time her brothers were not there to protect her. She closed her eyes as they finally gout out of there. The fresh air finally helping her to calm down. Then she realized that her new friends now knew who she was. Cindy had even made the comment that they knew who she was. She swallowed hard her hands shaking as she turned to them.

Ellen moved close and put her arm around her shoulders “its okay Shan .. just take a deep breath we won't let them get to you …. Rick will body slam them...” She smiled then caught sight of her friends face. Seeing how the girl had acted towards her friend she really understood why Shanell never told them who her brothers were she was just too afraid of what would happen. “its okay.... Shanell......Jon and I had a talk … at the beach....”

Cindy nodded “Rick and I probably had the same talk... though we are a bit hurt that you didn't tell us...”

“we understand... why you didn't especially after seeing what happened in there...” They had kept walking towards Shanell's Porsche

Shanell looked at all four of them and shook her head breathing deep. “I am sorry I just ...I know I should have trusted you …. “ She could see a few people peaking out the door of the discotheque. “I need to get home...” She was still shaking pretty bad. Though they had protected her she wanted her brothers.

“How about we drive you home …. I don't think you should drive in the state you're in...” Jon stated as he put his hand on hers which was digging for her keys in the purse that Ellen just handed her. He looked at Cindy and Rick “we'll call you tomorrow ...”

Rick nodded “yeah … we can get together tomorrow … sometime... come on Cindy....”

Cindy moved close and hugged Shanell “it will be alright we will talk to you tomorrow okay.... I'll call you tomorrow El...” She looked at Ellen who stood on the other side of Shanell. She just nodded.

Shanell looked at them “I'll be...” She was cut off.

“its okay … Shanell you're still shaking …. “ Ellen stated as she got the keys from her handing them to her boyfriend. “come on..” She escorted her friend into the front of the car and got into the back. Shanell was still shooken up as she sat down in the front seat. They headed out after Rick and Cindy left.

Jon backed out of the parking lot “I'll need directions on how to get to your house...” he stated as they started out. Neither he or Ellen had ever been to Shanell's house so they would need to know how to get there to get her home then figure out a way to get themselves home. He could see that Shanell was still trembling.

Shanell blinked at him,  her head was still spinning from the experience though her head was starting to clear.  She took a breath and gave the address to Jon who turned the corner and headed the other way. She rested her head against the seat and gave into the exhaustion wiping the tears off her face she had to get composed if she showed up at home in this state Barry was for sure going to call Robin and Maurice. As they turned another left they pulled up to a large gate where she quickly punched in the key code. Ellen's eyebrows raised seeing just how secure where Shanell lived was. The gate soon opened allowing them access to the driveway which Jon drove up. She pointed out where to pull the Porsche up next to Barry's Cadillac. 
 

They quickly got out of the car she wiped her eyes trying to compose herself as Ellen put her arm around her shoulders She gave her a wan smile as she opened the door. She could hear her brothers in the living room. She groaned inwardly all four of them were there they must have decided to get together when she wasn't there. She had missed seeing Robin's car as usually if they were there Robin gave Maurice a ride. They must have wanted to be here when she got home. She shook her head this was going to a mess. Robin was going to lose his temper Andy was going to want a bodyguard at all times she could only hope that Barry and Mo kept cool heads. Taking a deep breath she moved out of Ellen's embrace and opened the door.
