Here I am

As soon as the door opened every one of her brother's turned to look at who was coming in. Andy was on his feet the minute he saw that she was escorted by her two friends. “Shan...” He noticed the tear tracks on her face “starlight...” he moved over and quickly had her in his arms stroking her hair as she broke down. He looked over her head his face creased in a frown “what happened.....”

Robin was soon on his feet and next to them. “Princess...”

Jon swallowed looking over at Ellen who was watching Andy try to calm his little sister down. “there was a incident at the discotheque.. “

“Incident...” Barry asked as he too came over he let Andy deal with calming Shanell down he was the best one at it. He indicated for both of them to sit as Andy moved to the couch with Shanell in his arms he could hear him whispering to her but her only nodding. Robin was right next to them. His voice took on a worried tone the image of his sister's bruised face spinning up after the incident in school.

Ellen sat down next to Jon who held her hand their eyes set on Shanell who looked like she was finally under control. “We went out to the discotheque over on forth street everything was going fine. We were all having fun.... “ She tried to keep her voice steady talking to her idols. Andy was watching from where he sat and Barry was right in front of her. “dancing away ….when uh well Shanell started singing along with one of your guys songs and it …..”

“its my fault … I forgot myself for awhile..” Shanell whimpered. “staying alive was playing and this guy asked me to dance so we were dancing and just having fun...” She sighed...”SO I started singing along like I usually do when its just us … only “

“only since she kind of sounds like a female Andy Gibb...” Jon stated causing both Robin and Maurice to snicker. He looked at them “what?”

“its not just a female Andy … Shanell is the misplaced triplet of our older brother Barry and our younger brother Andy....so she basically sound like them only higher ...”

Jon nodded a bit but was still confused by that statement and continued on. “it started to attract attention from others there and they got a bit over enthused ….” He sighed “we got her out of there ...” he thought it was best to leave out the girl grabbing her considering he could see how protective they were of their sister.

Robin frowned the laughter dying after knowing that his sister got attacked again. “did anything else happen.... damn it this is why I said tonight she needed someone to go with her ….”

Shanell shook her head leaning against Andy “Its fine Robin... I am okay they got me out of there....” She turned to look at him “I promise .. its my own fault I shouldn't...”

“No its not your fault...” Andy stated “you should have a right to go and be a normal girl unfortunately because you're our sista … being normal just doesn't happen...” He sighed “I'm sorry Shan....”

“why are you saying you're sorry...” She frowned looking up at him.

“because of us …. first you end up getting knocked down stairs at school and have rotten fruit thrown at you …...” She cut him off.

“this is not your fault any of you... its the bloody pillocks fault because they think just because I sound like you and look like you I am one way ticket TO you.... that's not your fault...” She growled only to get hugged by Andy who laughed

“Okay okay ….if we can't say its our fault you can't say its your fault...” He sighed “so except for that did you have a nice night....” He smiled when she nodded He turned to Ellen and Jon “thank you for getting her home safe....” he held out his hand “I'm Andy...”

Shanell sighed when her friends didn't move. “Andy this is my friends Ellen and her boyfriend Jon...” She turned to them. “Jon and Ellen.... this is Robin next to me … Mo or Maurice is in the chair and our big brother Barry is sitting in the chair next to you ….”

Ellen tried very hard not to get star struck now that everything was calm. Barry kissed her hand and the others shook her hand. “its nice to meet you guys …. “ She eyed Shanell. “by the way we figured out who they were this morning.... but I sort of figured it out..... last week....just didn’t finish connecting the dots till today...”

“How...” Shanell finally set down on the couch between her brothers.

“Andy...”

He looked over “yes....”

Ellen giggled “no when you came to pick her up Thursday after school ….. your disguise wasn’t' very good... a hat and glasses isn't going to hide you ….and Shanell calling you Roy and you looking confused ...”

The three other brothers laughed as Andy turned red and Shanell dropped her face into her hands.
