Moving

Andy set next to her setting his soda down. “you know you and I went to see the Flat how much work still needs to be done add in not enough privacy plus no where to work music...” She nodded “and you fell in love with that house just as much as I did... you have your own room just like here.. but you can also have your own room to do whatever you want in sing dance whatever..” he smiled with those beautiful teeth of his.

Ellen looked at her friend “you are moving?” They had talked about a lot of things but nothing about her moving. Sure it was fun hanging out at her house or rather her brother Barry's. Yet she had not mentioned moving to any of them yet.

Shanell nodded “Andy and I were only going to be staying at Barry's till his flat was fixed … but its not done yet.... its a three bedroom flat … Andy got it when he moved here last year ...” She shrugged “Andy and I went to look at this house that Mr Stigwood said is for sale its really nice we were only looking at it..” She shot a look at Andy who just grinned at her. “but it looks like Andy bought it.... “ She shook her head “but its his money.....”

“hey now...” he tickled her for the comment. “ this way we will be out of from under Barry's feet....” Andy stated “and you can visit her at the new place I wouldn't mind it at all....” He leaned over to kiss his sisters temple after she got her giggles under control.

After that it didn't take long till all of Shanell's things and Andy's things were moved into the new place. Shanell's room opened up onto a large balcony overlooking the pool in the back. Andy's two bodyguards also moved in so it was safer. Shanell didn't mind Brian and Harold she knew they were there to keep her big brother safe they were also fun to be around when they weren't so serious. The week after they were all moved in she had a sleep over with Ellen and Cindy. She had something big to ask them now that they had really relaxed around her family, because two days after Andy and she had moved his song hit number one. Love is thicker than water., so they were throwing a combination Number one party and a house party. Andy said she could invite her friends to see if they wanted to come.

Things had changed so much for her since she moved to the states. She had good trusted friends who she could sit and talk to them about anything. Ellen and Cindy were over at her house as much as she was at theirs. She met them at the door grabbing their bags. “hey come on in....” She smiled “I got to have a confab with ya .....” They both looked at her. “no no its good...” She dragged them into her room dropping their things. She set on the bed her record player was by the side of her bed she patted the bed as they all climbed up. “ye know how Andy's song just hit number one... “

Ellen grinned “yes … I remember him grabbing you and dancing you around the kitchen....” Cindy laughed.

“yeah.. well we are having a party …. number one party … a lot of people will be here... Andy said I could if I wanted to …well do you guys want to come...”

Cindy gasped “all of us you mean .. Jon and Rick .. me and Ellen...” When she got a nod “oh yes … I'd love to I'd have to ask Rick but … this would be great.... wow....” Sure she had been to some of the parties her dad had at CBS but they really hadn't gone to many of the parties Ellen's dad threw.

Shanell nodded “great... oh Ellen Barry said for Jon to make sure he brings some of his stuff with him at the party … since some of their friends will be there … said he wants to check out … some of it too.... “ she smiled “also said that … if Jon wanted to talk to him about music or anything not to be afraid to … “

Ellen blushed “he didn't want to be seen like he was using your friendship.”

“its okay ….. Barry brought it up he wondered since Jon was drooling over his new guitar the other day why he didn't say anything....” Shanell shrugged “so he wanted to know why he didn't say anything …. he wouldn't mind … he always likes to help up and coming artists he helps Andy a lot with his stuff he wouldn't mind helping Jon out a bit he just has to ask...”

After that they got to talking about what they would wear and who would be there. Andy walked by the room and could hear female giggling his face broke out into a grin hearing his sister laugh for the first time in both their lives they were being treated like normal people by Shanell's friends. It left a warm feeling in the pit of his stomach as he headed downstairs to find out what was for dinner.
